Подведены итоги Международного конкурса имени Ивана Слёты (Украина, г. Житомир), в котором от Ассоциации «Светоч» приняли участие Светлана Гордеева и Елена Филатова.

Поражает размах конкурса - более десятка стран - от Канады до Австралии, множество хоровых коллективов, ансамблей, дети, взрослые. Сколько людей откликнулось на приглашение организаторов! Какая большая работа проведена группой энтузиастов под руководством Валентины Слёты! И все это сделано исключительно на общественных началах.

Мы ожидали хороших результатов, и они пришли – наши участницы награждены Дипломом и Благодарностью.

Диплом особенный – Светлана Гордеева завоевала 1 место в номинации «Художественное слово» за проникновенное и высоко художественное прочтение стихотворения Ивана Слёты «А льон цвiте». Заслуженно!

Елена Филатова удостоена Благодарности за «высокий профессионализм, творческий подход и весомый вклад в культуру страны. Ее исполнение песни Ивана Слёты «Любов на всi лiта» не оставит равнодушными искушенных слушателей.

Просто молодцы, девчата!

Творческая ниточка, протянутая с далекого Житомирского Полесья на Золотое побережье и обратно, не оборвалась в пути, напротив, окрепла и вселяет в сердца надежду. А лён цветет!

The results of the Ivan Slyota International Competition (Zhytomyr, Ukraine) have been announced. Representing the Svetoch Association were Svetlana Gordeeva and Elena Filatova.

Watch and immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of enduring folk creativity—just like in the good old days…

The scale of the competition is truly remarkable: participants from more than a dozen countries, from Canada to Australia; numerous choirs and ensembles; children and adults alike. So many people responded to the organisers’ invitation! What an enormous amount of work was accomplished by a dedicated team of enthusiasts led by Valentyna Slyota. And all of it was carried out entirely on a voluntary basis.

Ivan Mykhailovych Slyota—People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1979), Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Polissia State Song and Dance Ensemble Lyonok, author of numerous poetry and music collections, Professor at Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University, and Honorary Citizen of the City of Zhytomyr (2006)—left us a cultural legacy that will endure for generations. His songs, poetry, and devotion to folk traditions continue to unite people across countries and continents, proving once again that genuine art knows no borders.

Our expectations were fully justified—our participants have been honoured with a Diploma and a Letter of Appreciation.

The Diploma is particularly noteworthy: Svetlana Gordeeva was awarded First Place in the Artistic Recitation category for her heartfelt and highly artistic performance of Ivan Slyota’s poem “And the Flax Is Blooming” (A Lyon Tsvite). A well-deserved achievement! You can watch her performance in the post published in this group on 29 March.

Elena Filatova received a Letter of Appreciation for her “high professionalism, creative approach, and significant contribution to the culture of the country.” Her performance of Ivan Slyota’s song “Love for All the Years” (Liubov na Vsi Lita) leaves even the most discerning listeners deeply moved. Well done, ladies!

The creative thread stretching from the distant Polissia region to Gold Coast and back again has not been broken along the way. On the contrary, it has grown stronger and continues to inspire hope in our hearts. And the flax is still blooming!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Valentyna Slyota, the initiator and driving force behind the competition, for inviting us to participate and for her invaluable advice during the preparation of our participants’ performances.
